Explorying
You would think a person focused on reading and writing would pay close attention to spelling, right?
Well true, I attempt to do that. And yes, the title of this blog looks wrong. But, there is a story behind the word and title of this blog.
Explorying is a word created by my podcast, reading, and writing partner, Ted Zaleski. Ted has been with me, not only in the search for great books, but also on the hunt for interesting places. He coined the term explorying, borrowing from my name, Lory, when he witnessed the sparkle in my eyes at not only the books we find, but the joy I find in the book buildings themselves. Discovering new towns is another fun part of Good Book Hunting. Meeting interesting people, hearing about the history of buildings, and comparing the layout and inventory at different library branches and book shops is my idea of a good time. You will hear about many of these interesting places in our podcast episodes and on our website.
Have you discovered interesting libraries, bookstores and towns on your hunt for books? We would love to hear about it at twosides2thestory@yahoo.com
