All in the Family

Lory and I hope that we continue to attract listeners and readers. Thank you to all of you who have joined us! One special listener/reader we have attracted is my daughter Monica. She has listened to all of our episodes, has read a lot of our blog posts, and has offered us some interesting insights.

Monica and her husband, Ian, are travelers and readers. They recently visited New Orleans where she acted as an unofficial arm of Good Book Hunting.

They did some book shopping in the Colonnade Shops in the French Market District. They visited Frenchmen Art and Books. Monica said that they focus a lot on local authors and history; she bought a couple of books there. And, they went to Faulkner House Books. The store is actually in Faulkner’s one time home. She asked the owner for a book recommendation for someone who loves all books (Me) and that had something to do with Louisiana. She bought me The Missing by Tim Gautreaux (Great Louisiana name!). Can’t wait to read it.

If you find yourself in New Orleans, check out these independent booksellers. Tell them Two sides to the Story sent you!
